Well, not really. My highly-outrageous post title is in reference to the new sport computer from Spoon, made for the new Civic Type-R.

The simple addition increases the rev limiter on the car, raises the point at which VTEC kicks in to 5,400RPM, but most importantly in my opinion, gets rid of the annoying bastard-child that is the speed limiter. Oh joy for Spoon.
But these simple additions don’t come cheap, with the K20A sports computer coming in at a wallet-denting 147,000 yen, which is around 4,620 MYR, or just under $1,500 USD.
But if you’re serious about your Honda’s performance and money isn’t an object, then head over to Spoon’s website and grab yourself one of these.
