With a pricetag as heft as the one the NSX carries, you’d think that it’d be very hard for someone to modify one poorly, considering the bankroll they must have at their disposal. But as has been proven time and time again, money does not buy taste or style. The NSX I have for you today however, is definitely not an example of poor modifying taste, and I’ll even go so far as to say that it’s one of the nicest I’ve ever seen.

Owned and built by an American, this car proves that the yanks aren’t all chrome-and-neon when it comes to the world of aftermarket performance tuning on Japanese cars.
The engine hasn’t been heavily modified, though not much really needs to be done to the C32B engine to get a signiicant amount of performance gain. Only Honda’s latest updated ECU has been added, along with several minor modifications to help the engine breathe in and out.
But it’s not the engine that interests me the most with this car, it’s the bodykit. What has been attached to the exterior of the car is a hand-build widebody kit made by Japan’s Kawagen Route KS. The owner had to wait almost 6 months for it to be completed and delivered and when he appropriated the kit, it was only the 14th ever produced. And I have to say, it looks freaking spectacular.
In a way I do feel kinda silly posting this car up here because it’s not technically JDM; the car is a left-drive Acura which was US-delivered. I do love it though.
