Taniguchi Set For D1GP Return

According to Auto-Otaku, Nobuteru Taniguchi (GT300’s Yunker Power Taisan Porsche driver) is set to return to his old stable at the HKS D1 team this year starting with next month’s round at Fuji. Apparently the information is posted on Nobu’s personal blog, however as it’s in Japanese and I barely know my ichis from my rokus, I’ll just have to take their word for it.
He won’t be competing in all D1 rounds this year due to conflicting Super GT and D1GP schedules, however the rounds he does compete in will be in his old faithful set of HKS Altezzas.
I’ll update you all on his progress in D1 as well as GT300 as more information comes to light.
