Though they’ve created a whole lot of body modification products for the new R35 GT-R including some stunning dry carbon parts, they’ve only just begun releasing some of the more nuts-and-bolts perfromance gear including their new engine computer for the car.
This is Amuse’s Hi-Tech ROM for the R35 which acts to raise the rev-limiter from 7,000rpm to 7,200rpm, alters the ignition timing program, but most importantly of all, gets rid of the naughty speed-limiter that the boys at Nissan so inconsiderately decided to attach to this God of the road.
Starting at 138,000 yen (RM4300, $1345 USD) it’s not the cheapest bit of gear available for the GT-R, however if you’ve got the cash to buy the car in the first place, I’m sure it wouldn’t be too much of a stretch.
